Appointment times

We always aim to arrive on time, and will let you know if we are going to be more than 15 minutes late. If you want to postpone or cancel an appointment please let us know at least 24 hours in advance.

Emergency Repairs

This service is for real emergencies only.  Please check that we are equipped to carry out the emergency work before you call.

Cancellation

We may charge a cancellation fee of the first half hour’s fee if you cancel an appointment at short notice, or are not in when we arrive for an arranged appointment. We may waive this at our discretion.

Payment terms

Payment by cash or cheque upon completion of the job, except for regular customers where we can arrange a property maintenance standing order or regular invoices.

If you are a landlord, estate agent, or other property professional please contact us to arrange regular maintenance of your properties.

Complaints

We want you to be happy with the standard of service and the quality of any work carried out. If you do have any complaints, please phone us first and we will address the problem as a matter of priority. If we are unable to rectify a problem arising from work we have carried out, we will offer you a refund.

Any problems that arise from work we have carried out will be fixed free of charge, except where problems are due to normal wear and tear or interference by third parties.

We will normally respond to any complaints in less than a week, except during holiday periods and busy times when this may not be possible. However all complaints will be addressed.

Liability

If you ask us to carry out work outwith normal practice, we may advise against it. If you still decide to go ahead with the work, this may affect the outcome of any complaint if you have subsequent problems as a result of the work.
